The race to play Sakshi Dhoni in Neeraj Pandey's MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has come to an end.
While names like Shraddha Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were doing the rounds, a relatively newer actress seems to have beaten them to the finish line.
We hear, Kiara Advani has been chosen as the female lead opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. For those who are going 'Kiara who?', she made her Bollywood debut in Kabir Sadanand's Fugly last year.
Turns out, director Neeraj Pandey wanted to cast a relatively fresh face for the role (Guess that's where Shraddha, who was tipped as the frontrunner, lost out).
Kiara has also done screen tests with Sushant and has begun her preparations for the role.
